Welcome to our Downeast Maine antique collection!  Years ago, while in Sales and Marketing, my wife and I began buying and collecting antique items of interest, as a means of investing.

Researching our purchases and gathering reference data was a top priority, in order to invest wisely. Eventually, the process lead us to a wonderful collection of eclectic antiques. Along with years of accumulated knowledge, this became the heart of Farmer’s Antiques, which is celebrating over 12 years in business.

As an antiques professional, I am a member of The White Ironstone Collectors Association, the Transferware Collectors Club, and a licensed Antique Dealer in the State of Maine.   The satisfaction of owning my antique shop is second only to the joy of meeting people and sharing in their stories.

How interesting! More about shopkeeper, Stan Farmer:

• Born and raised on Peaks Island, Maine, graduating from Gorham HS 1959.
• Served aboard submarines for ten years (MMC) and another three in US Army Reserve.
• Earned a BSME while in service.
• Connecticut Yankee Nuclear Plant from construction through going critical, as Health Physicist.
• Sales and Marketing Manager for large nuclear firm.
• Founded and operated Bread of Life Specialty Bookshop in Groton CT.
• Founder and retired Director of His Mansion Ministries, which celebrated its 50th anniversary on Aug.27, 2022, a residential community of healing for men and women suffering from various addictions, which is a one-year program for all participants.
